Evolution is Free at Barnes & Noble

Evolution is now live and Free on Barnes & NobleSmashwords and Diesel. Unfortunately I am unable to make Evolution free on Amazon as well. A permanently free book on their site is only made that way at their discretion - a few notifications from customers advising on their 'Tell us about a lower price' link that it is free on Barnes & Noble may also help sway their decision.

There has been a bit of a hiccup with Evolution's book description which has not been loaded on Barnes & Noble, and there is nothing I can do about it for now as per Smashwords policy - they will not notify B&N until it has been that way for 2 weeks and then it could take another week or so to rectify. So in the meantime customers seem to be downloading the book on the cover picture alone - the fact that it's free may also have something to do with it, but I'd like to think it's the cover.

As for iBooks, I am trying to decide if I should publish directly or through Smashwords, as Apple Australia require that I register for GST which is a whole other issue, and I'm not sure if it is worth doing or to just go with Smashwords. Decisions, decisions - it's all doing my head in!

Tormented is now live on Smashwords, and is still sitting in the 'pending review' to be approved to be sent to Barnes & Noble ect. I will do another post when Tormented is live on B&N, and until then, I will cross my fingers that Amazon price match and make Evolution Free as well.
